Even my broadcast professor can’t get it right..
I emailed my reporting for tv news teacher my broadcast script, so she could help me out with some corrections. She did her mark on a few misspellings and how I have to spell out the numbers like this 4-HUNDRED…I know broadcast is so different than print. But after correcting everything and perfecting it so anything isn’t misspelled..names, and stuff..she manages to misspell my first name when it’s written correctly below the email..I’m amazed how many people just keep on misspelling it and they are journalist who must value in “getting it right.” My last name which should be more difficult to spell is always spelled correctly..take note of this link: http://www.colum.edu/academics/journalism/Fischetti_Scholars_2008.php
Chrstina Aguirre! CHRSTINA!!! WHAT?! Omg what has happen to the world…thank you though for my last name.. but my first name…ouch….Is it that difficult for a Cristina like me…it sure is…lol
